Trading platforms
Quotex is a platform for trading digital options on a wide variety of underlying assets (over 400). The term digital options refers to trades based on simple up and down price movements with predetermined costs and fixed outcomes.
No download required, the platform is completely web-based.
The platform supports options trading on stocks (companies), forex, commodities and some indices such as the S&P 500.
Expiration durations are also quite diverse with 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, one hour and up to a month or more in some cases.
Payments
The payout percentage varies based on the asset and time frame.
Profits will also vary according to available trading information, for example if a large proportion of traders all speculate in the same direction, payouts are likely to decrease for new positions – conversely, those with opposing views are likely to see larger payouts than expected.
Education
The best method to learn the system is to use a demo account (more on that below). In addition, however, Quotex offers instructional videos and market news.
Trading signals are also provided, but they are only available on the full account – they cannot be accessed on the demo version.
Mobile applications
In addition to the desktop platform, Quotex also offers an Android-based trading application.
The app is fast, responsive, and user-friendly. It offers all the functionality of the web version, and searching for markets and placing trades follows the same process.
The app has been reasonably well received by users, with an overall rating of 3.6*
One shortcoming with the current mobile offering, is the lack of an iOS version for iPhone/iPad users.
Rankings
The charts are quick in terms of responding to market fluctuations and are highly customizable.
The platform hosts dozens of commonly used indicators, each of which can be fine-tuned to the trader’s personal preferences.
The order screen is embedded to the right of the chart so making trades is extremely easy.
Also includes trading signals and market news but you must have a live account to access them.
Demo accounts
Quotex offers a demo account with $10,000 in tradeable funds. Demo accounts allow full access to trading features but limited access to news, trading tips and other exclusive information.
Deposits & withdrawals
The minimum deposit at Quotex is just $10 and can be made in dollars, euros, pounds, and even Bitcoin.
Deposits can be made by credit card, eWallet, bank transfer or cryptocurrency and are usually available within minutes of deposit.
eWallet options include AdvCash and Perfect Money.
Withdrawals are made back to the same source unless the secondary source is verified. There are no withdrawal or deposit fees but some methods may incur platform-unrelated fees.
